This is a copy of Apple's standard "Fun" background image, with the TV pulled from my Dot Mac iMovie theme page. Use it to place movie clips behind so they play on the TV screen. More info on this on the Compositing page.

This is an overlay that you can temporarily place over your slides to give you an idea how much of the edges of your slide will be cut off if viewed on a TV. It's not perfect, but generally if you stay INSIDE the red border, you'll be fine.

This little droplet lets users who DO NOT have QuickTime pro open a movie into the Presentation mode. This version keeps the movie at 100% to give you the best quality. If your screen is larger than the movie, you'll see black around the movie.
Present Movie Full Screen Droplet

This little droplet lets users who DO NOT have QuickTime pro open a movie into the Presentation mode. This version scales the movie to fill the entire screen. Be aware that you will notice a loss of quality if you scale movies this way.
Apple's QuickTime AppleScript Pack
Web Page w/Download link
Why is this here? There is an AppleScript file in this set that allows you to change the way a movie works. You can choose to have a movie ALWAYS open in "Presentation" mode, so that the two scripts above aren't even needed. This means you can send .Mov files to PC users that will launch right into full screen when run. This is a Very usefull tool. NOTE: Look for the QT 5.0 Applets-Droplets folder for the self running droplet versions. The file you want is "Save as Presentation File. Double clicking on the script will allow you change its preferences. I tend to set mine to Normal so it doesn't scale up my movies. Then just drop your movie on it and it will be modified.
